Sri Subrahmanya, is the presiding deity of Kowmaaram who symolises fire. Fire also is a metaphor for knowledge, hence Subrahmanya is the Lord who symobilses knowledge (Jnaana Shakti). The book presents thousand names of Sri Subrahmanya as shloka for Paaraayana (recital) and Naamaavali - Archana (worship) extracted from Sri Skanda Puraana. Also contains Sri Subrahmanya Bhujanga Stotram composed by Sri Aadi Sankara, the recital of the stotra would confer the oneness with Skanda apart from other materialistic benefits.
