      The devotees who have been benefitted wants to accumulate atleast 108 Shilas because as per 'Garuda Purana' Lord Vishnu has mentioned that, “Where 108 Shilas are kept and worshipped, that place becomes 'Vaikuntha' and I personally come and stay there and bless the worshipper". 1. Whether ladies can worship Shaligrama Shilas ?
Yes. Ladies can woship Lord Shaligram Shilas.
striyo va yadi va sudra brahmanah ksatriyadayah
pujayitva sila cakra labhante sasvatam padam

     Worship of Salagram Sila can be done by women, shudras (untrained - low caste), brahmanas (twice born), ksatriyas (administrators), etc. and they can all achieve the eternal abode of Lord Krsna perfectly. (Hari Bhakti Vilasa 5.452, from Skanda Purana, conversation between Lord Brahma and Narada Muni)

2. I have great devotion towards Shaligram Shilas, but I am so busy due to my work that I cannot do elaborate puja daily. Can I still keep Saligram in my Altar and worship Shaligram ?
Yes. Lord is looking at your devotion only. After taking bath bath the Shila, put a tulasi leaf over the Shila. If you dont have tulasi leaves then encircle the Shila with tulasi mala sent to you with the Shila. Offer some sweet or fruit or prasad to the Shila. Chant mantra given below. All this will take just five minutes.
"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare"
