The value of a Parad Shivaling is immeasurable because worshipping a Parad Shivaling is more fruitful than worshipping a thousand Shivalings. Merely seeing the Parad Shivaling neutralizes the effect of a sin as grave as killing a thousand Brahmins and cows.
Such is the piousness of this Shivaling that even touching it, undoubtedly will make a person get rid of all his worries and hastens the ethereal, religious and intellectual growth of a person. This is the divine promise from the God of all Gods Lord Shiva.

Translation:
Worshipping a Parad Shivaling even once in a lifetime can bring about good health, wealth, fame, high position, intellectuality, respect, sons and grandsons, and all the desired comforts for which one struggles for in life. Such a person attains an unimaginably high position in life.

Translation:
The desired wishes of a human like wealth and prosperity, good health and longevity and a sharp mind can be achieved by idolizing the Parad Shivaling.
Although the Parad Shivaling is a symbol of Lord Shiva but it has also found mention in the Lakshmi Upanishads hence it is a symbol of Goddess Laksmi as well. Also, Lord Vishnu promises that a house in which the Parad Shivaling fins a special place for itself has to be blessed by the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, Goddess Lakshmi. There is no chance that the home will ever be facing poverty or even the slightest financial issue.
There is a certain way the Parad Lingam needs to be worshipped, the person should keep reciting the “Om Namah Shiavaay” or chanting the ‘Maha Mrityunjay Mantra’ while doing the abhishek of the linga with water, Ganga Jal or other aromatic waters like kewda or rose water. After that apply sandalwood paste (vibhuti) and saffron.

According to Agama Shastra, the most prevalent and special place that can be given to the Parad Shivalinga in the house is:
1. The devotee fronting the north and the yoni base fronting towards the east, (in this case, the devotee is facing the south face of the lingam). However, the Shivalinga here needs to be kept in a way that the Abhishek water or the Panchamrit should be flowing out from the yoni base of the Shivalinga.
2. The devotee fronting the East and the yoni base fronting the North, where the devotee will be towards the west face of the lingam.
