The story of the origin of Mars

According to Skanda Purana,
In Ujjayini Puri there was the rule of a demon named Andhak. He had a very powerful and mighty son, named Kanaka Demon. Kanak once challenged Indra to battle, Kanak demon was killed in the battle, now Indra knew the power of Kanaks father Andhak. He was horrified at the idea of ​​war with Andhak and directly took refuge with Lord Shiva Shankar. Now Andhakasura also arrived to revenge the murder of his son.
